A new hardback book option to treasure your family history

It is perhaps ironic that the last thing a client thinks of when asking me to research their family history is the form in which they want to receive it when complete.

Customarily, this can be the simple research data or in a chart or a full report – I have always offered all three but recently, most of my clients have opted for the full report in book form.

To give you an example of how this book looks, I have printed my own to share my family history. It features all the data gathered during the research process to tell the family story in a simple but informative way.

If you choose this option yourself, you’ll find extracts from key documents are included and referenced throughout. Many of my clients have supplied family photos for inclusion, too.

The book contains a full index for each family line showing the lineage clearly and notes in the appendices covering vital sources used including Parish records, Civil Registration and the 1939 Register.

This is the hardback version but it is also available in paperback or even as a booklet. All versions are on A4 paper in colour and are the best way of sharing your family history with others.
